Politics with a Punch is held bi-monthly on stage before a live audience. It is our own local version of “Politically Incorrect.” It is a fast-paced, free-wheeling, no-holds-barred discussion of what is happening in our city, state, and nation.

TV and radio personality Jeff Crouere hosts each panel, which includes comedians, celebrities, politicians, newsmakers, and community leaders. The program was founded in 2002 at Le Chat Noir Theater in New Orleans. We have hosted programs in New Orleans, Metairie, Covington, and Baton Rouge. Our current home is the fabulous Jefferson Orleans, located at 2536 Edenborn Avenue in Metairie.

With so much serious discussion, it helps to gather at Punch and poke fun at some of the hilarious, insane, and unpredictable events happening in New Orleans and across the state. We value having a good time and expect plenty of laughs as we discuss the controversies and outrageous antics of our local leaders and scoundrels.

In 2027, we will celebrate our 25th Anniversary. In our history, we have produced 161 outstanding programs for our patrons. Our show has become a political tradition in Louisiana and has featured top leaders from our state, including former Governors Dave Treen (deceased), Edwin Edwards (deceased), Kathleen Blanco (deceased), Bobby Jindal, John Bel Edwards, and current Governor Jeff Landry.

Other Punch panelists have included Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser, U.S. Senator John Kennedy, U.S. Congressmen Steve Scalise, former U.S. Congressman Cedric Richmond, and former New Orleans Mayors Marc Morial, Ray Nagin, and Mitch Landrieu. We have also hosted hundreds of legislators, council members, comedians, reporters, celebrities, and other local leaders.
