Politics with a Punch is held bi-monthly on stage before a live audience. It is our own local version of “Politically Incorrect.” It is a fast-paced, free-wheeling, no-holds barred discussion of what is happening in our city, state, and nation.

Each panel is hosted by TV and radio personality Jeff Crouere and includes comedians, celebrities, politicians, newsmakers, and community leaders. The program was founded in 2002 at Le Chat Noir Theater in New Orleans. In our history, we have hosted programs in New Orleans, Metairie, Covington, and Baton Rouge. Our current home is the Quarter View Restaurant, 613 Clearview Parkway, Metairie.

With so much serious discussion, it is helpful to be able to gather at Punch and poke fun at some of the hilarious, insane, and unpredictable events which occur in New Orleans and throughout the state. We place a premium on having a fun time and expect plenty of laughs as we discuss the controversies and the outrageous antics of our local leaders and scoundrels.

In 2025, we will kick off our 24th season. In our history, we have produced 157 outstanding programs for our patrons. Our show has become quite a political tradition in Louisiana and has featured the top leaders in our state, including former Governors Dave Treen (deceased), Edwin Edwards (deceased), Kathleen Blanco (deceased), Bobby Jindal, John Bel Edwards and current Governor, Jeff Landry.

Other Punch panelists have included Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser, U.S. Senator John Kennedy, U.S. Congressmen Steve Scalise, former U.S. Congressman Cedric Richmond, and former New Orleans Mayors Marc Morial, Ray Nagin, and Mitch Landrieu. We have also hosted hundreds of legislators, council members, comedians, reporters, celebrities, and other local leaders.

Each show is off the record to allow our guests the opportunity to be brutally honest.
